Keberhasilan kondisi ini menjadi salah satu indikator penentu kepuasan pasien terhadap asuhan keperawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tahap komunikasi terapeutik perawat dengan tingkat kepuasan pasien di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSU Mitra Sejati Medan melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling, diperoleh 71 responden sebagai sampel penelitian yang datanya dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman’s Rho (alpha = 0,05). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tahap orientasi (p = 0,000) dan tahap kerja (p = 0,003) terhadap kepuasan pasien, namun tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan pada tahap terminasi (p = 0,265). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan pasien lebih dominan dipengaruhi oleh impresi awal dan kualitas interaksi saat pemberian tindakan keperawatan dibandingkan fase akhir interaksi yang sering kali terhambat durasi singkat saat pemulangan. Disimpulkan bahwa penguatan kompetensi komunikasi perawat di setiap fase interaksi sangat diperlukan untuk menjamin asuhan keperawatan yang berkesinambungan dan holistik demi mengoptimalkan pengalaman pasien.
