Lima tahun pertama kehidupan manusia sangat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak untuk tahap selanjutnya terutama untuk pertumbuhan fisik dan kecerdasannya. Salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap proses pertumbuhan anak adalah status gizi yang menentukan keberhasilan dalam peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia (Nurrizka dan Saputra, 2015).Penyebab utama kematian terbanyak pada kelompok anak balita (12-59 bulan) adalah diaresebesar 10,3% dan pneumonia sebesar 9,4%. Penyebab kematian lainnya, yaitu demam berdarah,kelainan kongenital jantung, tenggelam, cedera, kecelakaan, kelainan kongenital lainnya, COVID-19,infeksi parasit, dan penyebab lainnya. (Profil Kesehatan Indonesia, 2021). Gizi kurang ataupun gizi lebih (malnutrisi) akan terjadi apa bila pola konsumsi pangan yang salah (Oemar, Novita, 2015). Pada tahun 2017, 22,2% atau sekitar 150,8 juta balita di dunia mengalami Gizi Buruk. Namun angka ini sudah mengalami penurunan jika dibandingkan dengan data pada tahun 2000 yaitu 32,6%. Pada tahun 2017, lebih dari setengah balita mengalami gizi buruk di dunia berasal dari Asia (55%) sedangkan lebih dari sepertiganya (39%) tinggal di Afrika.(Kemenkes RI,2019). TUJUANUntuk menganalisis Pola Asupan Nutrisi terhadap pertumbuhan anak Di Puskesmas Pegajahan Kec.Pegajahan Kab Serdang Bedagai Tahun 2023. METODE uji chi square p value < 0,05 berarti H0ditolak dan Ha diterima hasil uji statistic adanya hubungan signitifikan.HASILadaadahubungan bermakna Pola Asupan Nutrisidengan pertumbuhan anakmenunjukkan mayoritas responden dengan pola asupan nutrisi yang baik memiliki anak dengan pertumbuhan anak yang normal yaitu 14 (77,8 %). In 2020, the number of pregnant women experiencing Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) was recorded at 1,200 people. This figure decreased to 1,000 people in 2021, and decreased again to 800 people in 2022. This decrease reflects efforts to improve health services for pregnant women in the area. The prevalence of Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in pregnant women in the work area of the Atu Lintang Health Center is still high Methods: The type of research is an analytical survey with a Case Control approach. Population: all women aged 27-45 years at the Atu Lintang Health Center amounting to 60 people, the entire population is used as a sample. Bivariate analysis is an analysis to determine whether there is a relationship between independent variables can be used chi square test.
