Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini terdiri dari 3 yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi, dimulai dengan mengumpulkan peserta yaitu ibu nifas. Dari kegiatan yang dilakukan, seluruh peserta hadir, dimana dari 30 peserta yang terdaftar dalam kegiatan ini, didapatkan hasil bahwa sebanyak 23 peserta (77%) merasa nyaman dan 7 peserta (23%) dengan tidak merasa nyaman menggunakan teknik pijat effleurage. Kemudian tahap evaluasi menunjukkan tingkat nyeri pretest lebih tinggi daripada tingkat nyeri post-test, skor minimum adalah 3 (nyeri ringan) dan nilai maksimum adalah 8 (nyeri berat). Sedangkan pada posttest diperoleh nilai minimal 0 (tidak nyeri), dan nilai maksimal 5 (nyeri sedang).
