Stunting (short body) describes the condition of malnutrition that has been long since 1000 days of birth of a baby and it takes time for the child to develop and return to normal according to the growth and development of the child's age. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the incidence of stunting in toddlers at the Sei Bamban Health Center, Batang Serangan District, Langkat Regency in 2020. This research is an analytical survey with a cross sectional study design. The sampling technique was Simple Random Sampling with a total population of 20 children at the Puskesmas Sei Bamban. The method of collecting data for maternal nutrition variables during pregnancy, exclusive breastfeeding, complete basic immunization and environmental sanitation was using a questionnaire. Data analysis using Chi Square. The results showed that from 20 samples, 75.5% of children under five were stunted, 80.0% of mothers had a history of poor nutrition during pregnancy, 70.0% of children under five had a history of not exclusive breastfeeding, 45.0% of children under five received complete basic immunization, and 85.0% have poor environmental sanitation. Meanwhile, complete basic immunization did not have a significant relationship with the incidence of stunting. Research suggests that the active role of the government, especially health workers, is to tackle the incidence of stunting in toddlers. Title A name given to the resource Implementasi Media Booklet Tentang Pendewasaan Usia Pernikahan (PUP) Bagi Remaja di Gereja GBKP KM 8 Medan Description An account of the resource Pendewasaan usia perkawinan (PUP) merupakan suatu tindakan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah untuk meningkatkan usia perkawinan pertama, sehingga mencapai usia reproduktif yang sehat bagi wanita 20 tahun dan bagi laki-laki 25 tahun. Dengan total 25,53 juta kejadian pernikahan anak di seluruh dunia, Indonesia menempati peringkat keempat dalam statistik pernikahan anak (UNICEF, 2023). Salah satu permasalahan besar terkait pelanggaran hak anak adalah pernikahan anak. Berdasarkan data, hampir 1 dari 9 perempuan menikah dan memiliki anak sebelum berusia 18 tahun. Oleh karena itu, inisiatif untuk menghentikan pernikahan anak menjadi sangat penting. Menurut data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), pada tahun 2022, 33,76% remaja Indonesia menikah pertama kali pada usia 19 hingga 21 tahun. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan media Booklet yang berisi tentang pendewasaan usia perkawinan dan dampak pernikahan dini yang dilaksanakan pre dan post untuk mengetahui pengetahuan remaja tentang PUP. Jumlah sasaran pengabdian sebanyak 60 orang. Tempat pelaksanan di Gereja GBKP Km 8 Medan. Hasil yang didapatkan sebelum diberikan Booklet mayoritas remaja memiliki pengetahuan kurang tentang PUP sebanyak 47 orang (78,3%) dan setelah diberikan Booklet pengetahuan remaja mayoritas baik sebanyak 57 remaja (95,0%). Selama pelaksanaan pengabdian remaja sangat antusias mengikuti dan hamper keselurahan remaja sudah memahami tentang PUP. Title A name given to the resource Stunting Care Application (SCATION) and Its Effect in Early Detection of Stunting in Toddlers in Langkat District Description An account of the resource Introduction: According to WHO data from 2020, 144 million children around the world had stunted growth in 2021. Based on the results of the Indonesian Nutrition Status Study (SSGI), Ministry of Health, the prevalence of stunting among children under five is 24.4% in 2021. Poor nutrition during pregnancy and the early years of childhood has the terrible side effect of stunting. Children that are stunted may never reach their full height potential, and their brains may never fully mature cognitively. Methods: This study is quantitative in nature, with an analytic approach and a quasi-experimental design with a pre-post test design by using scation (stunting care application). The population in this study were parents who had children aged 0–5 months, with a total sample of 212 mothers. Result: The median value of knowledge is 55.0 and 50.0 for skills after being given an intervention by scation (stunting care application), while the median value for the control group is 45.0 for knowledge and 45.0 for skills. The increase in knowledge was 5.0 in the intervention group (scation) and 2.0 in the control group, and there was an increase in the same skills in both groups, namely 5.0 with a p-value of 0.004 for knowledge and 0.007 for skills.
