Development of Health Promotion-Based Education Methods to Increase Accessibility of Adolescent Mental Health

One of the elements in not attaining good health in the globe still is mental health diseases and depression, According to WHO in 2022, one in seven youngsters between the ages of 10 and 19 struggle psychologically. In Indonesia, mental health issues affect about 6.1% of teenagers fifteen years of age and above. Consequently, health promotion has to be developed in order to make teenagers more easily accessible for mental health education. The project intends to establish the creation of a Health Promotion-based Education Method for Increasing Accessibility of Adolescent Mental Health in Bangs Rejo Village. (b) to ascertain the Feasibility of a Hath Promotion-based Education Method for Rising Adolesdent Mental Health Accessibility in Bangun Rejo Village is a quantitative research approach. The method of sampling is accidental one. There were 302 teenagers in all, Anno table data analysis combined with one-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test. According to the study, 191 (63.2%) youth reported moderate emotional and mental health. There were 252 youths in all with intermediate self-awareness and 245 with moderate self-efficacy. With a P value of 0.416, self-awareness and self-efficacy clearly affect emotional and mental control. Self-awareness with a P value of 0.000 influences mental and emotional control. The accessibility of adolescent mental health is influenced by the development of health promotion-based education strategies, mostly self-awareness and self-efficacy. Health professionals should be able to provide parents with sources of information on how to raise teenagers, particularly in terms of developing self-awareness and self-efficacy so that appropriate emotional and mental control results.
