Title A name given to the resource Efektivitas Pemberian Teknik Relaksasi Nafas Dalam Terhadap Penurunan Nyeri Dismenore Pada Remaja Putri SMP Swasta Era Ibang Kota Medan Johor Tahun 2022 Description An account of the resource Dismenore merupakan kejadian yung sering terjadi pada wanita sewaktu menstruasi yang dapat menggangu aktivitas dan menimbulkan rasa nyeri dibagian daerah abdomen ataupun pinggul. Nyeri yang terjadi saat menstruasi diakibatkan oleh hormon prostaglandin yung membuat kerja otot rahim berkontraksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemberian teknik relaksasi nafas dalam terhadap penurunan nyeri dismenore pada remaja putri smp swasta cra ibang kota medan Metode: Metode ini adalah kuantitatif berdasarkan jenisnya yang digunakan di dalam penelitian adalah Eksperimen semu (Quasi Experimental ) dengan bentuk rancangan one group pretest - posttest. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah 40 responden dengan menggunakan Purposive Sampling, dianalisis menggunakan Uji Paired T- test, dan waktu penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei sampai Juni. Hasil: Hasil penelitian didapatkan sesudah diberikan teknik relaksasi nafas dalam, dengan nilai p-value = 0,000 (p < 0,05) artinya Ha diterima yang berarti ada efek signifikan sesudah diberikan teknik relaksasi nafas dalam. Kesimpulan: Diharapkan kepada remaj putri dapat mempraktikkan teknik relaksasi nafas dalam sebagai upaya penanganan dalam menurunkan nyeri dismenore sehingga tidak mengganggu aktifitas pada saat menstruasi.
