Sedangkan menurut Susanti, 2018 asuhan berkesinambungan adalah ketika pasien dan/ pemberi asuhan menuju asuhan keperawatan yang bermutu tinggi dan hemat biaya dimana terdapat kerjasama yang baik antara ibu sebagai klien untuk menerapkan manajemen asuhan kebidanan yang berkelanjutan. Metode: Penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dengan penerapan manajemen varney meliputi pengumpulan data, Interpretasi Data, Diagnostik Potensi dan antisipasi, Tindakan segera, Rencana tindakan, Implementasi, Evaluasi dan Catatan Kemajuan dalam bentuk SOAP sebagai informasi dalam bentuk karya tulis ilmiah yang berjudul "Manajemen Asuhan Kebidanan Berkelanjutan pada Ny. R Klinik Rimenda Br. Tarigan, Kec. Medan Denai Kota Medan Tahun 2023" yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 29 November-28 Juli 2022 menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara ibu, melakukan observasi, melakukan pemeriksaan fisik pada bayi, dan mengumpulkan data melalui rekam medis ibu dan bayi. Hasil: Dilakukan asuhan secara continuity dan didapatkan data bahwa selama hamil Ny.R rutin melakukan kunjungan antenatal 3 bulan terakhir menjelang persalinan, dan selama hamil tidak ada masalah atau komplikasi yang serius hanya keluhan seperti sesak nafas saat tidur telentang dan sering buang air kecill di malam hari, hal ini merupakan fisiologis pada ibu hamil trimester III. Masalah terselesaikan dengan baik dan tidak ada gap antara teori dan praktek. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan apa yang diperoleh, penulis mengidentifikasi bahwa tidak ada kesenjangan antara teori dan praktek. Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) di seluruh dunia pada tahun 2019 adalah 303.000, menurut data Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO), sedangkan Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) di Perhimpunan Bangsa-Bangsa Asia Tenggara (ASEAN) setinggi 235 per 100.000 kelahiran hidup (ASEAN, Sekretariat 2020), Metode: Metode yang digunakan untuk asuhan komprehensif pada NY.U observasi deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian dengan tahapan terencana yang mencakup dan menganalisis banyaknya tingkatan kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan kasus yang terjadi di lapangan. dengan adanya gambaran tentang objek yang akan di teliti menjadi salah satu tujuan digunakannya metode deskriptif, oleh karena itu penulis ingin menggambarkan secara terperinci kepada klien yaitu asuhan kebidanan pada Ny.U. Hasil: Manajemen perawatan ibu hamil, persalinan, nifas, bayi baru lahir hingga keluarga berencana sampai ada perbandingan antara kesenjangan secara teoritis. Kesimpulan: Asuhan yang dilakukan pada Ny.U umur 27 tahun selama masa kehamilan sebanyak 4 kali dan belum memenuhi standar minimal kunjungan kehamilan yaitu sebanyak 6 kali. Asuhan yang didapatkan pada Ny.U usia 27 tahun selama kala I sampai kala IV sudah sesuai dengan 58 langkah Asuhan Persalinan Normal. Asuhan yang dilaksanakan masa nifas pada Ny.U usia 27 tahun sejumlah 4 kali di mana kunjungan pertama 6 jam sesudah melahirkan keadaan ibu normal dan bayi mau menyusui. Asuhan pada BBL dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali pemantauan di mana pada pemantauan pertama 2 jam sesudah lahir, pemantauan kedua kali 6 hari setelah lahir dan pemantauan yang ketiga hari ke 14.
