Diabetes melitus juga di kenal dengan kencing manis, disebabkan oleh masalah metabolisme dipangkreas yang mengakibatkan munculnya poliuria, polifagia, polidipsia. Tujuan: Memberikan asuhan keperawatan keluarga dengan Diabetes Melitus. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam studi kasus ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif kategori deskriptif. Subjek yang digunakan yaitu satu dari keluarga yang mengalami penyakit Diabetes Melitus. Data yang didapatkan dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan melakukan pemeriksaan fisik. Hasil: Setelah dilakukannya pengkajian, diagnosa yang dapat ditergakkan yaitu Defisit pengetahuan, ketidakstabilan gula darah dan resiko perilaku cenderung beresiko. Intervensi yang dilakukan dengan pendidikan kesehatan tentang diabetes melitus, diet diabetes melitus dan senam kaki diabetes melitus. Kesimpulan: Pendidikan kesehatan yang dilakukan dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan dalam memberikan asuahan keperawatan dengan Diabetes Melitus.
