Tingginya prevalensi kecemasan pada ibu hamil di wilayah ini dipengaruhi oleh tingginya konsumsi garam melebihi rekomendasi, pola hidup kurang teratur akibat latar belakang sebagian besar masyarakat sebagai nelayan, serta rendahnya pengetahuan terhadap terapi farmakologis karena khawatir efek samping terhadap janin. Sebagai upaya penanggulangan, dilakukan intervensi nonfarmakologis berupa terapi musik dan edukasi mengenai pola makan sehat. Masyarakat telah diberi PKM (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) dan bertujuan guna meningkatkan wawasan juga mengurangi tingkat kecemasan pada ibu hamil melalui metode ceramah dan penerapan terapi musik. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan kesehatan dan pemberian perawatan kepada peserta terukur. Hasil intervensi menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil terkait pola makan sehat sebesar 89%, serta penurunan tingkat kecemasan dengan nilai rata-rata (mean) 1,17 pada minggu ketiga hingga keempat pelaksanaan terapi. Research Objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of listening to English classical music and murrottal in reducing depression levels in the elderly in Bangun Rejo Village, Tanjung Morawa District in 2024. Research Methods: This research method uses a quasi-experimental design with a pre and post test with control group design. The number of samples used was 34 respondents. Research Results: Statistical tests using the Wilcoxon test showed that there was an effect of listening to English classical music and murrottal music on reducing depression levels in the elderly in Bangun Rejo Village, Tanjung Morawa District in 2024, with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Meanwhile, for the difference in influence test, the p value obtained was 0.036 (<0.05). Conclusion: With these results, it can be concluded that there is an effect of listening to English classical music and murrottal music on reducing depression levels in the elderly in Bangun Rejo Village, Tanjung Morawa District in 2024.
