Pegajahan KAB Serdang Bedagai Tahun 2023 Description An account of the resource Latar Belakang Pemerintah Indonesia menaruh perhatian yang cukup tinggi, karena begitu pentingnya pemberian ASI eksklusif bagi pertumbahan dan perkembangan bayi. Pada tahun 2012 telah dikeluarkan Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) No. 33 tentang pemberian ASI eksklusif. PP tersebut menyatakan bahwa ASI eksklusif adalah ASI yang diberikan kepada bayi sejak dilahirkan selama enam bulan tanpa menambahkan dan/atau mengganti makanan atau minuman lain. Disebutkan juga bahwa setiap ibu yang melahirkan harus memberikan ASI eksklusif kepada bayi yang dilahirkannya, kecuali ada hambatan yang dibenarkan. Tujuannya adalah untuk menjamin pemenuhan hak bayi agar mendapatkan ASI eksklusif sejak dilahirkan sampai usia enam bulan. Agar program pemberian ASI eksklusif dapat berhasil diperlukan dukungan seluruh elemen baik pemerintah, swasta, maupun masyarakat. Tujuan Untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik ibu dan pelaksanaan IMD dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif di Puskesmas Pegajahan Kec.Pegajahan Kab Serdang Bedagai Tahun 2023. Metode uji chi square p value < 0,05 berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima hasil uji statistic adanya hubungan signitifikan.
